Minorities.....We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every day.
I'm not talking about illegal Aliens; I'm talking about our troops!
Doesn't it seem strange that Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops and are now threatening to defund them?

Politicans believe that soldiers are a minority vote they don't need. A non-political army can benefit a politician/group of politicians. Third world dicatatorships are built on the military keeping them in power. 0 -
Unfortunately, you are correct. A retired Marine Corp. friend of mine said that most of the Marines with families, he knew drew some sort of public assistance, due to low pay. These guys are out there risking their lives and have to rely on food stamps to feed their kids. Its a crying shame.[:(!][V] 0 -
Somebody just needs to figure out a way to make the military as desireable a vote farm as the illegals. But first you would need at least about 20-30 million of them... 0 -
If the majority of my taxes went to defense and better pay for our military I would not have any problems with my taxes instead of it going to worthless social programs and baby factories 0 -

I call BS on that. The only thing that they are probaly eligible for is WIC. Unless, of course, they are very lower enlisted with 4 or more children. The pay IS NOT that bad. If it was, they wouldn't be driving all the expensive cars and having $2500 TV's in their houses.
