Tancredo For President
He announced last week and got ZERO national media attention. I am voting for this guy as he is the ONLY politician with any credibility on the illegal immigration issue. He is the only hope America has.

seems as good as the other ones lol0 -
Actually, Tancredo is a lot more than a single-issue candidate (He's my MOC).
Tancredo is very pro-2nd Amendment, which is more important to me than anything else I can think of.
Tancredo is for lower taxes, and he's for smaller government. He also puts his money (vote) where his mouth is, he was one of the few GOP members in previous Congresses to not give the POTUS carte blanche.
People should read up on the guy.0 -

Your right as far as I am concerned. See my post in the politics forum. Even if he does not make it this time, his effort might just be the beginning of a third party with a bright future. I really belive this, because both parties suck up to each other and big business more than they do the common folks, especially, if you are from the southern states. I also believe that people from all over America see both parties in the same light. We just need to ditch the filth and greedy from all levels of government, and Tancredo might lead the way with a new party.0 -
I am donating to his campgain right now. $250 to start. If he picks up any steam i'll donate more. I figure its the least I can do for my kids. 0 -
Tancredo is also my choice for President. His chanches may be slim and
I doubt the "party" will aid him but he will still get my vote if he does run. Granted, as was posted, maybe we need a good conservative
party and not the wimps now pretending to be Republicans. Glad to hear he is pro gun also.0 -
I dont think his chances are "slim". I think it might surprise ALOT of people how badly Americans want someone who will do the right think on illegal immigration. The national media wants you to believe they are just the "fringe" voters but polls show over 75% of america wants the borders closed and illegal deported. Personally I think Tancredo is going to shock America and shock the world. 0 -

Hey, 2008 is a long way off.
Lest we not forget that Howie Dean was a shoo-in as the Democratic nominee, and GWB didn't stand a chance for re-election.
My guess is that with the Dems, neither Hillary nor Obama will be on the ticket when all is said and done. Politics has a funny way of not working about as people would assume, nor how the media would like it to be.0 -
I really like Tancredo but I don't think he is electable, but stranger things have happened. 0 -
funny how everyone who has responded to this thread say they like him and will vote for him but dont think he can win, lol. come one people !!! he can win if we vote for him !!! i mean, who else are you going to vote for ? the gun grabbers mcain and guiliani ? no way !! 0 -

Poor old Howie. He was doing great until he gave his infamous Green Mountain Rebel Yell! [:D] When mentioned today, even the young folks answer with Howie Who?0 -
How about Ron Paul?

Tom can be VP. [;)]0 -
I will never vote for the "lesser of two evils", period. If my vote goes to a losing candidate, so be it.
I vote on principal and will NOT compromise my values.
Maybe a few losses that can be directly attributed to disenchanted Americans, will wake the Republican Party up. Doubtful, but possible.
Preferable to that would be a new party that puts America ahead of all else and actually follows the Constitution.
So far, Tancredo looks pretty good, but I have some research to do.0 -
