Suggested reading material
Anyone recommend any good books, or any reading material, on military tactics/strategy? I've found a few books via both the web and Barnes and Noble but any recommendations?

There is a good one that I have somewhere here around the house dealing with Desert Storm.
It is actually more of an autobiography of Genral Schwarzkopf.
If I remember right (without tearing the place apart looking for the book) the title is "It Doesn't Take A Hero".
I at one time thought about putting this book up for a giveaway for others to read and thought better of this as I got the book after my grandfather passed away. He had the book in his collection and had self noted book marks in it in the areas were it disscused the 2nd A.C.R.'s (My Unit) role in Desert Storm.
I desided to keep the book and it still has those book marks in it right were my grandfather had left them.0 -

I would keep it without a doubt then, you couldn't pay me enough to buy a book with that kinda personal history wrapped up in it.0 -
The second best book ever written "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen.
It deals with how our thoughts effect us, and what the effects are. It is short, very short, it gets right to the point. About an hours read.0 -
Depends on what you want to learn, read Leo Frankoski's Cross Time Engineer its a 6 or 7 book series that is fictional but has a lot of great strategies and a bonus (SEX)!if you don't come away from this series with some knowledge of tactics I'll buy the books from you! 0 -
GOD SAW THEM THROUGH - Glenn Thomas
It's about "AMERICA'S BATTALION" IN IRAQ.0
