Ted Nugent Insults African Americans

Only in Tejas!! Rocker Ted Nugent Insults African Americans, Non-English Speakers, Etc. -- At Texas Governor's Inauguration!
AP reports that hours after Texas Governor Rick Perry kicked off his second full term in office, Ted Nugent, a rocker popular in the 1970s perhaps best known for his signature (and to some anti-woman) song Stranglehold (click here to see and hear it performed), helped him celebrate at a black-tie gala. Using machine-guns as props, Nugent, 58, appeared onstage as the final act of the inaugural ball wearing a cutoff T-shirt emblazoned with the Confederate flag and shouting offensive remarks about non-English speakers, according to people who were in attendance. "I think it was a horrible choice," Republican strategist Royal Masset said. "I hope nobody approved it." Nugent, a hunting and gun-rights advocate, couldn't be reached for comment Thursday because he was hunting, a spokeswoman said. News of Nugent's appearance drew criticisms from civil-rights leaders. "Whenever someone sports the Confederate battle flag, many Texans will be offended, and rightly so, because of what it symbolizes - the enslavement of African-Americans and more recently the symbol of hate groups and terrorists," said Gary Bledsoe, president of the Texas chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Notice there are no quotes by "nuge" they just call him offensive
They can go to hell, i don't care0 -

i get so tired of hearing about, AFRICAN AMERICANS, MEXICAN AMERICANS,
and what ever other kind of add ons, most of those african americans
have lived here for 5-6 generations and don't even know what part of africa they came from. why can we all just be AMERICANS or go to some where else.0 -
It's really a shame that we can't voice our opinion now without it being twisted into some NEGATIVE form of hatred.
Non-English speaking is translated into "your a racist, because you hate all people that don't speak english" and there's one key ingredient to being labeled a racist. You must be white cause no other color of person can be a racist. Just the way it is.0 -

back in the 70's I had a flag on my truck.
these three black gentlemen followed me to a gas station.
when I came out the started beating the Hell out of me.
I was NOT holding my own, luckey for me one of my friends
was driving to school also. we had two school grounds, one for
vocation class's, the other for reg school. when george got out of his truck, they took off, george did manage to clothline one of them. just because I had a flag, they ended up taking me to the hospital for care. thanks again to george he had that one he stopped. He dragged him in to the deans office, it was not long
before they had the other to. Now mind you this was the 70's. If it had been the other way around, they would have been using the words racist, hate crimes were did running amok. thank God I made it through those times.
I doubt that those who attacked you are alive or free today. If they are alive, I would be surprised if they have not paid dearly for their criminal mindset and activities.0 -

So a group of people said he made "offensive remarks towards non-english speaking people" but then they dont quote him or give an example ? that is horrible reporting and to me it sounds like he probably said something like "illegal immigrants should be deported" and of course that is racist .
Bravo RunForest!!!
[:(] I can't believe the ignorance of the people here who rallied to this Bravo Sierra thread! If anyone knew Ted, or watched him, or listened to him, they would know this is Bull-crap! There is no truth to it at all. He has rallied for our gun and hunting rights for more years than most. He is eloquent and well speaking and spiritual. He may well believe deeply that we should as Americans all speak American English and have to learn the language for anything citizenship, government, or regulation related. I'm with him 110% on that. Texas is being over run by non-english speaking ILLEGAL immigrants, mostly from Mexico, but also many from other central and south American non-english speaking countries. The burden is becoming so great as to start shutting down hospital emergency rooms because they can't keep giving free care to the ILLEGALS. It is also becoming a source for other (OTM's as referred to by the border patrol and other federal agencies such as Homeland Security) people's who don't speak english but look vaguely hispanic, such as Islamo-Fascist terrorist types and sympathizers to cross our sieve borders and infiltrate our county. Is the official federal designation label of OTM (Other Than Mexican) racist?!? C'mon folks, rub some of those brain cells together and spark a fire!
This whole topic is so typical of the Anti's spin on any force that threatens their elitist, holier than thou, we know better than you, ideal for the new world order of global socialism.
It smacks of lies and purposeful disinformation!!!
Uncle Ted is the best friend we have for firearms enthusiasts and hunters. I suggest that anyone find out the truth before pointing an Anti-American finger of their lies of disdain at Ted Nugent!!!
Shame on all of you that buy into this crap!!!
How pathetic![:(!]
Ted Nugent's performance did not so much anger the Hispanic community as it did the Black community. They are the ones who have the wailing machines (all media and most all educational institutions) behind them, hence the "NO DETAILS" regarding what was offensive and to whom in the article that I read.0 -
Well Sweaty Teddy insulted me one time too but I got over it.
Sheesh, must be a slow news day for someobody.0 -
Good its about time Ted say what he wants to 0 -
To the poster I'll give you $0.25 0 -
Wasnt there at the inauguration but I have heard Ted sing a song called "Kiss my A$$" in concert a couple of times. This song is usually dedicated to Ted Kennedy, Jessie Jackson and whoever else Ted considers worthy. 0 -
he speaks his mind because he can afford to.
strip him of his bucks.....hmmmm?
i bet he'd even get puufed on this website![:p]0 -
If he insulted non-English speaking people then how would they know they have been insulted?[:D][}:)] 0 -
there were no details b/c this is a non story, kimi
(I liked the part about the wailing machines though[:D])0 -

[:D] I liked the part when Governor Perry was in his Tux jammin' on stage with Ted wearing his shirt with the Confederate Flag emblazoned on it to Ted's song "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" - that does not appear to be directed at the the Hispanics, but a highly deserving racist segment and their asinine BS antics.0
