Why does Bill O'Reilly still have a job?
He topped Imus' comment. So, why hasn't he received the same treatment?

Imus, who was a prick, insulted a group of women. Bad? Yes. Bill insulted millions of people simply because of their skin color. It would be akin to saying, "Wow, I was amazed all gun owners weren't racist, redneck, idiots who can't read." And then, trying to pass that off as a positive statement.
No, I do not watch Bill. I caught his comment on "Countdown".
You didn't hear the whole thing. He was there with Al Sharpton and Sharpton defended him as did Juan Williams (also black) who was present on the radio show when the full comment was made. CNN returned Juan Williams defense of him by calling Juan a "happy negro".
If you hard heard the whole comment in context, he was stating that his grandmother was a racest and by what she told him he said what he said as a tongue and cheek crack back to what his grandmother had told him.
The liberal media did a real good job of dropping the preface to the sarcastic comment and print on the sarcasm as fact. You, feel for it just like they wanted you to.
Once again, the media has manipulated the masses to belive exactly what they wanted them to with their dishonest spin and out of context quotes. And, as usual, the liberal sheeple have followed right along.0 -
More to the point. O'Reilly's comments were to point out that despite the seemingly majority or white Americans opinion of black culture being one of "gangsta's". That there is a portion of black society that reflects the same values as the rest of us.
But the Liberal media misreported it as him saying that he was "shocked" to see blacks displaying such values. They even took comments said severalminutes apart and united them to mis-quote him.0 -

He was also cowed by Jackson, and his comments regarding white Americans being afraid of blacks were indicative of his confused presence.0 -
"Why does Bill O'Reilly still have a job?"
Because millions of Americans love communist propaganda.0 -

Which is a primary reason why so many democrats and racist figures are invited to his show, but he fails to tell them just that.0 -
Again, my point wasn't about O'Reily. It was about the lack of actual power held by Jackson and Sharpton. They could make a big deal out of this and take down a network fixture. How great would that look for their cause, that they command that kind of attention and get what they want? But, they can't. They can no more hurt Bill then I could knockout Mike Tyson. 0 -
I'm disappointed in O'Reilly not putting these kind of trash in their place, or giving air time to their white counterparts, or any American who would. If the media would call a spade a spade, then our legal system might be one step closer to doing the same thing, then we would not have their kind bleeding/extorting money from taxpayers and businesses, and in the news 24/7 with their race cards and hands out for more benefits. 0 -
he was dining with Al, he comments were no not racist
all its about the other network wanting to take bill down.0 -
White America IS afraid of black America. How else would you explain any number of lop sided events.
The Imus thing is a good example. How is that anything remotely racist said by a white is cause for sensational headlines and the eventuall firing of the person who said it. Even afer he publicly apologized.
While Sharpton & Jackson are openly racist and publically pronouced the Duke Lacrosse team guilty w/o a shread of evidence. No apology given or EVEN ASKED FOR.
Why is the Govt. spending billions to rebuild New Orleans when it has never done so for any other natural disaster area?
Because Blacks live there and made ridiculous accusation of govt racism. Not even to cover for their OWN obvious stupidity and sloth, but because they KNEW that they would benefit from even the most asinine accusations . And what do you know, IT WORKED. Because White America is AFRAID of them.0 -
White America is no more afraid of Black America than the man in the moon. The George Soros types, his Secular-Progressives, the Lincoln Cultists, their legal arm, the ACLU, and their puppets, the racist black movements have control of the public schools, courts, and news media. It's as simple as the ABCs. For O'Reilly to act like a wimp and insult decent Americans like he did when he accused good strong minded people of being afraid is a prime example of how he is controlled by the very people he does his best to expose. 0 -

I'm peeing my pants?
CBS peed their pants. GW and the U.S. Govt. peed their pants. The justice system peed their pants on the OJ Simpson trail. There is a LONG list of overly PC fear of so much as insulting blacks. All while a large segment of their society wages a virtual WAR on us.
I just tell it how it is.

Not really. They know the truth, and both of them have been hurt by the truth when it destroyed their claims of racism. Now, they no longer want to start a stink they know will come back and bite them in the but when the truth comes out.
The sad thing here is how many people want to follow a media lie because it fits in with their political agenda. Those are the "sheeple".[;)]0 -
is he an AshkeNAZI? 0 -
Bill O'Reilly is askaJesse, for sure. Here Bill is advertising that he is going to have Jesse Jackson on his show for the first time ever - this about civil rights. So where does the discussion lead right from the git-go? To the Jena 6 Hate Crime, and Jesse Jackson comes up with his lying as usual self in front of the world and skews the details of the Jena Hate Crime Case to to the black racist point of view with making the victim look the criminal, and by saying that no one saw the ambushers kick the boy in the head. So Jesse paints a racist side of view about the good people of Jena, and what does Good Old Bill O'Reilly do? He shocks the world of intelligence by telling Jesse Jackson that he knows more about the case than he does!!!!!!!! If that's not sleeping with askaJesses, I don't know what is. 0 -
OReilly and anyone else out there will never make everyone happy everyday. They have their viewpoints just like we all do.
Jackson and Sharpton know without a doubt they could not possibly remove OReilly or Hannitty from the air. They have way too large of a viewer audience.
Now to what fastrat said. White Americans are not afraid of black Americans. What they are is getting fed the hell up. When the justice system and media plays up every case where a black person is assaulted or killed by a white person, but sometimes refuses to cover a similar or even more heinous crime committed by black on white, it is evident that the feeling is that the white populace is expected to give the black populace a walk on anything. I dont give a rats azz if you are white, black, asian, polkadotted...you break the law...you pay the price.0 -
No one seems to have posted that Bill OReilly was having lunch with Al Sharpton at this restaurant. Bill said to Sharpton that this restaurant is exactly the same as any other place, which in itself is completely harmless. Critics seem to have interpreted that somehow OReilly expected it to be full of thugs, rappers and gangbangers. If Al Sharpton were there and didn't make a big deal about it how the hell can anyone else? 0 -

I personally do not care for Bill O'Really, but the jerk over on Countdown, Keith Olbermann, is a complete partisan ass. If this guy ever had a coherent and unbiased thought in his head I would be astonished. He is a narrow-minded, parroting, political hack attempting to disguise himself as a journalist. It amazes me how many people listen to him. Apparently they are so frigging stupid or hate-filled that they have no room left in their tiny minds for any logic or facts.0 -

according to the ratings not many people are listening to Olberman. i predict he will be off the air in 5 months or less0 -
Hate-filled is the correct description. It sums up today's civil rights movement, and their ability to not concern themselves with the context in any message, but rather what can be used as ammunition to smear other people to their advantage. 0
