Kentucky vs. Florida State: Music City Bowl
Today at 4:00.
Can the SEC keep its bowl streak alive? I think so.
The Seminoles lost something like 36 players due to injuries and a cheating scandal. I don't think the 'noles lose much in the way of raw talent, as the roster holds (even depleted) far more former 4 and 5 star recruits than Kentucky. The talent will be there, but the 'noles lose alot of experience, especially on the D-line and O-Line.
The 'Cats have lost valuable players as well. Late Breaking news has Starting senior O-Lineman Jason Leger as being suspended for the game. He'll be sorely missed, as Leger was by far the most consistant of our linemen. We also lost a Running Back, Derrick Locke, who many consider to be the best on the team. Kentucky is deep at that position and does bring a healthy Rafael Little to the game, so that position is not as concerning. The 'Cats also appear to be without our best WR, Keenan Burton, due to an injury. I can attest that the 'Cats passing game is not nearly as explosive without Burton on the field, as he opens up the other receivers.
All that being said, I expect the 'Cats to win by 7.

Good game, but Bowden took 'em to the wire. I have really enjoyed watching Kentucky this year. I think they are going to have quite a few more good ones too.0
