In yesterday's newspaper, the article I read stated that it was done completely as a joke at first but then they decided to go ahead with it and market it. A different one will supposedly come out in the next 6 months.

Derek Jeter, like a few others currently in baseball, is a class act, an ambassador of the game and a solid, dependable ballplayer - a future Hall of Famer IMO. And did I mention that I'm a Yankee fan?[:D]
