I don't think it's about racism. It's about the "Haves" and the "Have Nots."

99% of us fit into the "Have Not" category.

its all about the rich hollywood crowd gets special treatment!
I went online and left LAPD police chief an email.
"This is the biggest joke in the country right now, Special treatment for another of the Hollywood crowd that breaks the law, and is given special consideration, If it were just another red blooded American, he/she would be cooling their heels in jail.
Is the chief of Police sleeping with Paris Hilton? There must be some reason she is getting Special treatment. Is he a dirty cop?
This is the reason that we cant stand the Hollywood crowd. They are always getting special treatment. I am a law abiding citizen, It just gets me mad that these people are getting off, for breaking the law.
It is time they throw her ass back in jail, Imagine getting out of jail for a rash! I hear she is throwing a party, is the police chief going to it also.
If your chief like getting along so well with the Hollywood crowd, tell him to get another job. Because he is not doing a very good job at being chief of Police.. I think the DA needs to look into throwing his ass in jail."

The RICH People have learned something, Pay off the NAACP before you buy your self out of jail. It's a shame that the only origination in the U.S.A to stand up and holler FOUL is the NAACP.

once again you guys take NO TIME to actually research some facts about the issue. here is a FACT....in los angeles county people who are convicted of driving with a suspended license on average serve less than two days in jail.
paris hilton served twice as much as that. that is a FACT. however, dont let me get in the way of your paris hating and black criminal sympathizing.

Fact - Judge in her case requested not to release her.

Fact - Sheriff in this case released her anyway, even after the judge asked him not to do that.

Fact - I like Paris and find her sexy.

Fact - My wife hates her and views her unfit.

Fact - I find her very fit.

Fact - If my wife found her fit on me, I would be divorced.

Fact - I love my wife and family far more than I could love one lustful evening with Paris.

Fact - I still believe she needs to serve the time. I am no Paris basher but think she needs to abide by the law as it is stated. Any deviation from what the judge sets out needs quick response. I say let her cook and do the laundry around my house for a month. She should be reformed by then.

FACT - the person in charge of imprisoning the inmates has discretion in the arraignments made to do so.

FACT - in los angeles county non violent offenders serve about 10% of their sentence.

FACT - paris served 15%, haha

It's a mockery of our criminal justice system and a sad commentary on American society.

    Discretion = $$$ or Influence

OJ - In the other cases of non-violent offenses, can you substaniate that any of the judges asked that the defendant serve full time? Certainly Not. However in this case the judge did.

You want to quote facts, but when the details are broken down you fail to corrobrate anything.

Kimbercolt, the email you sent will do little good as the Sheriff's Department in LA is in charge of the jail. The LAPD has nothing to do with the situation....

haha, sure buddy. when judges give a sentence they dont ask that certain portions of the sentence be carried out and others not carried out. the SENTENCE is what they are asking to be carried out.
my facts are FACTS. in los angeles county non violent offenders serve 10% of their sentence. dispute that and you will be almost as smart as you think you are

FACT:you really need to work on more than your social skills, your math sucks as well, 15% of 45 is not 3, nor is even 10% HAHA

All I can say is that this is the 1st I have ever heard that the LE agency in charge of prisoner confinement has the authority to decide if a convict serves their sentence in jail as intended, or to release them.

    fact: she broke law.
fact: she was given light sentence and got caught driving.
fact: she broke the rules the second time.
fact: sentence SHOULD go up. she obviously didnt learn the lesson.

punishments are suppose to change behaviours.

    obviously going light didnt work.

the judge is correct in uping the antie until it DOES change behaviour.

    good for him.[^]
