Gunbroker might not like for its members to rag on gun manufacturers. What if Rock Island wants to advertize on Steve's site, or on another one of his projects? How could he save face when one of his moderators is bad mouthing a potential customer/account whatever? 0 -

...The guy down the road bought a Rock a few months ago when they had a "2-fer" sale...2-fer $49.99...and when he got 'em home to diss-assemble/clean/lube...had a helluva time getting the rice, bamboo shoots and soy sauce cleaned out of his...[8D]
...He figured out why they had the 2-fer sale on them at that price, apparantely it was because the mags were made from bamboo.
...he was real happy though, he recieved a book of "coopins" good for a LOT of free Filipino take out...[:p]0 -
I bought one because of git r done higly recommended it and no one on the thread disagreed. Drobs actually called them the AK of 1911's. Mine has been fun, no malfunctions and is a strait shooter. Not that I would carry it as my main off duty weapon, but I wanted something that you could throw in the truck and not worry about scratching it or damaging the finish. They are not comparable to either my Springfield TRP or the loaded model. 0 -
Allen grigs....has posted that a horrible event has taken place on another thread and Git r done is in traction in the hospital after an accident moving a safe.
I hope this is wrong....he is a good person and has had enough "events" happen to him involving his health....I hate to hear this.0 -
