Colt Woodsman Question
Have the chance to buy one a 3rd gen with the release on the bottom "not the squared barrel". Great shape but some blueing wear on the slide, functions great and smooth wood grips and the left one is like a target grip with the thumb rest. Pro's, Cons, ??? Cost estimate?

All it says is woodsman, don't have the nice underlug. 0 -
Who cares what it costs. Buy it and give it to me! 0 -
I have often looked at buying a Woodsman, It is a fine weapon, However , price is always a factor for me and the ones that I have come accross have been very high. The gun value books only give a scale and I can tell most gun shops don't go by these prices as they know thier business and what is hot and what is not. If you can buy this reasonable do so , it will only go up in value through the up comming years. 0 -
Very low from a person that just wants it out of the house[;)] 0 -
I cannot see any photos, but Woodsman are the most expensive of the series. I collect Huntsman and can buy 99% for $400. A very nice shooter at about $260 with mininmal rubbing on barrel tip. Expect to pay about $100 more on a Woodsman. Guessing, I would expect $400 would buy it. 0 -
if you can buy it for around 200.00 your doing good.look on the auction side and see what they are doing.i think youll be surprised.[;)] 0 -
If you can buy it for around $200 you should be tried for theft. Coltcollector the only thing that surprises me is how much they have gone up, they want $45 for a box. 0 -
he dog...
i know, anything with colt,s&w is nuts right now price wise......not complaining at all[:D]. i bought one in the box for 250.00 at an auction, sold it for 650.00 on here. [:D] couldnt believe it.[:0]0 -

Once again a little old lady who might I add didn't want a dime for them . She just wanted "them damn things out of my house" I told her to let me sell them for her but she said just keep them, I almost had to force her to take the money. Her daughter didn't want the money either. I always quote a honest price from the BBGV and then make an offer. Maybe thats why so many oldies come to me, Hmmmmmmmmmmm....Kinda makes you wonder about acting "On the Level[;)]"

Just keep it "level", Brother. You'll sleep better for it. We all fall into deals like that once in a while. The rest of us are just jealous.[8D] 0 -
