    on the asfault its hotter, that may account for the bank and car, otherwise dont know

    Yep, where the sensore are located can make quite a difference. I can often see a 5deg drop when just a few miles out of town, due to less concrete/asphalt. There often 10-12deg difference between the top of my hill and the bottom too.

    that's about where mine is in the back yard, without the baffles, reads same as weather bug, and the rest of them

    [8D]-Yea, we're wrong too--

    --When the Weather pro says it'll get up to 78 deg. in the Bay Area it usually is 74 in my Back patio--bummer--

    Like my weather station, it reads ambient air temperature 20' off the ground.

    i thought about this some more, and the input about location of their thermometer vs. all the others, and how they all work in-sync with the weather mans thermometer the rest of the year, and are only different during extreme heat
