What an unusual contraption! I can dis-assemble all except the barrel from the receiver. It is a supermatic deluxe model with an adjustable gas system for magnum and standard loads. The barrel has got to be retained by something I am not seeing. Any clues?

  Schematics from Gun Parts Corp seem to show a threaded rear section on the barrel on the Supermatic type models. Have you tried turning the barrel?
