In the late 1980s I bought 3 Ram-Line 30 round 10-22 mags. Paid about $8-$9 each. Tried one and didn't get much of a kick out of it so I threw them in a storage box and forgot about them.
Fast forward to 2002. It's been 8 years of Clinton's AWB and I see one of these mags sell on GB for $65. Lights and sirens go off in my head as I recall that I have 3 of these... somewhere. I eventually found them and sold them one at a time for an average of $60 each.
Two years later the ban is history and I go down to the local Gander Mountain store and buy one for $9 just to have one.
Maybe I should buy a bunch to put away in case the ban returns...0 -
Sportsman's guide had them for less than $7 each. Now they are $24.97 for a pack of three (22.97 for members). 0
