Crimes by American soldiers

Does anyone believe any of what's being reported? Mahmudyah incident for instance.

I, personally, just don't buy it, but who knows.

    Yeah I tend not to believe them either. I wonder what our finest have to say on the issue. I have heard so much stuff, I don't know what to think anymore.

    some of these "reported" acts are not the manner in which this nation is purported to function but you cannot battle an enemy looking over your shoulder to get a nod from a lawyer

    There have been crimes committed by military personell since the beginning of time, We cant condemn the military because of a few bad apples, just as you cant condemn all of society for the bad apples. The military is made up of societies people so naturally there will be some bad people get in..

    The media is why we hear more about what is happening and most of the time they put a dramatic spin on the actual events.[:(]

    If the US Air Force wasn't ran by a bunch of wussies and I had a M16 at Khobar Towers and saw a truck driving straight for the fence and the nearest road was 200 yards away.....



    I'da emptied my magazines into the cab. But the AF is ran by pwussies.

    We had intel years before that the Saud's wanted Americans out of the middle east. Slick Willy and the pwussie Generals just let people DIE.

    I support Americans using deadly force. If we had to get there......the rest of the world should realize they better take cover and get out of the way.

    I support Americans....except Republicons, Demorats, pwussie Pentagon Generals.....and 2/3rd's of the Officers of the US Air Force.

    Read Unrepentant Sinner by Charles Askins. He admits to doing things that would certainly amount to war crimes today, and might have even during WWII, had anyone noticed.

    War has always been a wonderful outlet for the criminal mind/act. Probably the only difference between the ancients and our contemporary military, is that up to a few hundred years ago, the term 'rape and pillage,' wasn't considered a crime at all. It was aptly defined as 'the spoils of war.'

    ... no surprise there.
