$50 Question, What are These Things?

Appreciate any help identifying these things, I think they are some sort of sandstone crystals?

They are Calcite.

I had been told they were Mexican based selenite, but wanted second opinions...Thanks Much!

I stand corrected. They ARE Selenite. It is a form of Gypsum. I don't know why I wrote Calcite. But look up dessert rose in any geolgical guide and you will find them.

Nope you are all wrong.

Looks as if someone has raided my wife's pantyhose drawer. Without touching them - that is what they look like.
