Gal-Dang Parasitic Life Forms!
The liberals ticks are bad this year. We've pulled 5 or 6 off the dog just in the last couple of weeks, three of which appeared on the same day. I've pulled 3 off of me that I caught trying to crawl up my leg. I think I'm going to start wearing flea/tick collars on my ankles like I did in Kuwait!

Except every fluid excreted by my body will have a distinct odor of garlic then. And then it'll make me hungry for garlic bread.0 -
You didn't say you wanted to smell good! You just wanted to be rid of the pests![;)]

Talstar, I swear by it. Spreads in the yard like fertilizer and last anywheres from 3-6 months. About $60 a bag here in BRLA, but well worth it. Also use Advantage on the dogs. Having not problems with democraps this year. 0 -

Of course it doesn't work on liberals--especially those non-bathing, hippie smelly type that don't bathe and dwell in trees anytime a new road is being built.0 -
I thought this was going to be about illegal aliens![:o)] 0 -
Just pulled another one off the dog. 0 -
Get some ducks - They love to eat ticks. 0 -
Yep on the ticks. After a camping trip we found over 20 on our 14lb dog and thats with Adnatix (or whatever it's called). Most of them were dead. We all found 3-4 on each of us. We went to the playground at the state park and the playground equipment were crawling with ticks. Worst I've ever seen. I blame global warming! 0 -
I blame G. Dubbya. 0 -
We have been having a very hard time of it this year. Usually the frontline keeps it under control....but not this year. We are giving Advantix a try.
Its the teeny ticks the size of a spec we have found more than any....a close second are the little brown ones.0 -

Or guineas, they're tick eaters.
I think ticks are thick everywhere this year.0 -
Guineas make too much noise -- but they are great watch birds! 0 -
Ive been using revolution, works to protect against Fleas, heartworms(it actually soaks into the skin of my cat. My legs are all scarred up, about 50-60 bites in about 2 weeks. Worst two weeks of my life. any one know anything to get rid of scars? 0 -
Counter works wonders, kills just about any bug that crawls or flys. 0 -

You can use SSS by Avon (Skin So Soft). It will keep chiggers and ticks away while allowing those cozy females friends to still get real close. The older SSS has a chemical that them critters don't agree with.
However, Warriorsfan might want to snuggle with you while watching Broke Back Mountian so be careful with its use.
this is not poof proof - lol.0
