A little longer than it needs to be, but probably worth it.
Oh, nothing offensive on the site, this time.

A spurge is a plant of the genus Euphorbia. Although not a spurge, a pointsetta is also in the genus Euphorbia. All plants in that family have a sticky, white, carcinogenic, irritant latex.
Flowering spurge is a horticultural variety of spurge. The 'flowers' are just yellow leaves, much like the red on a pointsetta are just leaves.
Leafy spurge is a weed from Eurasia that has a particularly potent form of this latex. It infests rangelands and renders them useless as pasture (blisters the cattles mouths). I got my master's degree studying that crap. Why mastur? Well....just for fun I guess.
Leafy spurge is not unattractive.

Alright, I'll bite, what does a masters' degree in spurge research have you doing for a 9-5? Or do you have a masters' degree in Cattle blister locations?0 -

It's got me doing more research...I'm finishing the Ph.D. Then off for more research as a post-doc (probably). Then into the academy to be a professor (maybe).....or else into the government as a gov't scientist. If I go private sector it'll most likely be in software or hardware design/construction--for (you guessed it) researchers.
The alternative to this path would have been to work as a resource technician at a national park, or be a botanist for the government or a nonprofit. I'd be making three times my current salary if I was doing that.0 -
