what is this high standard gb worth

i got this the other day. its in good working condition other then the fact that the bluing is almost all gone. what is it worth in this condition and will it hurt the value if i have it re blued

  Worth is defined by what each person is willng to pay , lot or a little. All views, as such, differ.
  
  Believe your looking for the real world marketplace value on this piece, what the market value of such an item would bring to you in the way of an outright buy or possible trade.
  
  Either way with most of the finish gone and the manuf out of business , there is some collector value in it, how much ??
  
  Let a real collector of these firearms, quote that to you.
  
  A reblue would , I believe, hurt what ever value is left in it to a collector

  Looks like well used GB model. If the bore is good $250-350 around here.Fairly scarce gun about 5000 made if I remember right.I'd probably not refinish,keep for a shooter,but your gun your choice.Good luck.

  i agree with what big mango said........ and rebluing will kill any value left in it to a collector.[:D]

  250 to 350. not many made. was a fishing box gun for the most part, thus the short grip.
  make sure the serial numbers match, the frame and the slide.
