Just did a rough count, and have about 60 that I haven't fired. Most of them I don't intend to, but there are a couple that probably will get fired eventually.

Just 1, it's a "50 Annaversery of Pearl Harbor" M1 Carbine I bought back in '92 as an investment. The parkerizing is perfect, it has the most beutaful tiger striped walnut stock and the gold inlay was done very tastefully. Of course I bought it for $350 16 years ago and it is currently worth $300 so I might just shoot the darn thing.

I bought a comm. carbine (WWII) from the American Historical Foundation. Mid 80's. They always claimed "heirlooms that can only appreciate in value". Bull. Maybe in the beginning, but it's been long enough for the consumer to realize that instant collectibles don't have a market, other than as a NIB shooter. And are not an investment. The consumer is finally onto their line of crap, and I'm sure it only hurts business.

Can't access their website. Maybe they're already out of business?
    Oh, well. Joe
