Starting a diet....
I'm at work this evening, so Tori decided to do some shopping.
She called me, very upset over something. Apparently she's gained some weight since we got married. I told her that if she wanted to start a diet, I'd join her, because we all know I could use to lose a few pounds as well. We're already gym members and rarely go.
Starting this weekend it's going to be a lowfat, low calorie diet of chicken and fish, fresh fruits and veggies, and no snacks or sweets. And light to moderate excercise 4-5 times a week. Gradually working up to heavy cardio workouts.
I excercise as it is and have lost about 10lbs since the beginning of the year. I'd like to lose another 5-10. I consider myself in good to very good physical shape. Her endurance on a treadmill or bike leaves some to be desired.
She wants to get back to the weight she was at our wedding...117(almost 4yrs ago). She's 5'6" and 117 is too thin. I told her that 125 is a better weight. She also get a whole new wardrobe once she hits that weight. Or, at least, the money for a new wardrobe. She'll probably buy that Desert Eagle she's been dying to have(which is totally fine with me).
The thing is, she get's hit on and honked at enough as it is. I don't know if I can handle more of it.

When you go to Costco grab a few cases of the Kirkland Weight Watchers Chocolate shakes.
They are a great way to help yourself when you are trying to lose weight.0 -
I feel for ya on the diet thing. My dad had a heart attack last weekend so my wife put ME on weight watchers. low fat, low fat, low fat. I'm hungry all the time. Went to Appleby's for dinner tonight and ordered off the WW menu. When the food came it was a tiny piece of steak and a few shrimp served on rice with a side of broccoli. She's been doing it for about 5 years now and looks great. Thinner now than when we got married but she has better willpower than I do. This typing is making me hungry. Think I'll go and get a glass of water.MMMMMMM[xx(][xx(][xx(] 0 -
Work out more and eat what ever you want! 0 -
I quit smoking and now I'm putting it on. My wife did and is to. How do I get her on a diet without getting myself shot. 0 -
Those Kirkland Weight Watcher shakes are great with a coupla scoops of Bryer's real French vanilla, and a few squeezez of Hershey's syrup. But don't over do it if your tryin' to lose weight. 0 -

One thing that will help right off the bat is to stay away from grains-rice, bread, creals etc. Dump the taters too, they are high on the scale.
Do not use anything that contains MSG or you will never get rid of the hungeries.0
