BAD luck property
Ever find yourself talking to someone and get frustrated because you aren't on the same wave length?
Just got a call to appraise a house for estate purposes. But, I just appraised it 4 months ago. The lady client was talking and I was agreeing, but, the dates were different. She's talking about a last name of Burke and I knew the house to be owned by the last name of Lake.
I finally say, "Let's Stop, and start over". Seems, I appraised the vacant lot last July, '06 when Mrs. Lake bought it at an estate sale.
Last February, '07 I appraised it when the owner, Mrs. Lake, who built a new house on the lot died before she could move in. NOW this is the kicker.
Around the 1st of March, '07 the house was sold by the estate to Mrs. Burke...who moved in about the 12th of April, '07. Guess WHO JUST DIED!
Now, if this ain't a bad luck property, I don't know the definition of one.

Have one of those houses over here to.
First owner died right after finishing constructing it.
Then someone bought it and died shortly after...
Now no one even goes close to that small house,but i see it everytime when driving to my fishingcottage.0 -
Somebody really needs to make a map of where all those "Indian burial grounds" are located.
