Dad died
My dad died 9/8/07 @ 12:02. He was 77 and died of lung cancer. I got to see him two months ago at the family reuion and was at the hospital when he died.
He was a Korean vet and his military funeral was done by VFW vets. They did a great job.Dad would be pleased.
We had a funeral in Indiana and his burial in Sparta Tennesee. He is now resting in the hills of his birth place.

my deepest most sincere sympathies to you and your family for your loss. i know what youre feeling right now. i know it well. exactly one year ago TODAY, my father died. he was 74.
so, all i can do is do what everyone else here did for me, is be here for you to talk and share. words cant explain this moment in your life. all i can say and i say it with all honesty, is im sure he's glad to be where he is; and, im sure he wouldnt want to come back to be with you all, if given the chance. why? he's in the presence of THE LORD and all puzzles of life are being solved for him. everything he did is making sense. thats a good thing.
so now as a son, try this for comfort. when you came into this world, your dad was here ahead of you making sure your arrival went without a hitch. he cared for you on this earth and now he's off to prepare the next place for your arrival again. be glad. you will have a face you recognize when you look over the LORDS shoulder....i'll bet it will be your dad. may GOD BLESS YOU and your family during this time and feel free to call me anytime to talk private. youre not a stranger, youre a fellow MAN and im listening if you need it.[^]

To say your father "would" be pleased is misstating things - he is pleased, because he's watching you from Heaven right now, as we speak, taking pride and joy in his son's achievements.0 -
