I think I've seen a train with such horns on it too..
Two-tone.
Is it electrical or pneumatic/air ?!?
I really do wonder how much stuff you have left in that garage of yours.. [:)]0 -
I'm thinkin' "Diamond-T" Or "Reo Olds". Possibly "Diamond-Reo"..

If put under a table at the front porch, and connected to the doorbell-button...
Priceless..
Sorry - that's what I'd do with it, if I had a house with porch.
(to keep door-door salesmen and jehovas whitnesses from always disturbing right in the middle of something interesting on tv)
Ok, couldn't quite see the size of it - but trucking seems right. =o)
Train was the only thing that came to mind though - mainly because I've lived about 100 metres from one of the most busy trainlines in Dk. Yet it doesn't take more than a week or so to not even notice the horns anymore. - it's kind of "louder".. when they don't use the horn and just rumbles by.0 -
happynanoq...heres a flashback to help you visualize.[:)]
