Just watched Trainspotting....

It's possibly the most disturbing comedy I've ever seen. At least I think it's a comedy. I loved it. Anybody else seen it?

    If you liked it, then try now "Acid House", "Requiem for a Dream", "Drugstore Cowboy" and "Factotum".

    If you like reading "Invisible Monsters", "Choke" and "Survivor" by Chuck Palahniuk.

    And yeah, seen it a few times, not sure whether I like that genre or not, but it definitely is entertaining, though most people completely miss the point (kind of like with "Fight Club").

    I liked requiem for a dream (but wouldn't at all call it a comedy), I liked Drugstore Cowboy but I found it a little shallow, and haven't heard of the other two you mentioned. I'll look them up.

    Except "Acid House" other ones aren't comedies, they are related though in some ways. "Acid House" is also written by Irvine Welsh.
