Best time of year to sell a gun?
Is right now a good time for sellers? Why do gunshows stop in the summer? Just wondering how cyclical sales are for guns.

Now is a good seller's market because people are getting their tax refunds and there are no major holidays going on. Gun shows dry up in the summer because people spend more time outdoors and all of their discretionary money on vacation, graduations and weddings. 0 -

You only need to look at recent selling prices. I had over a dozen guns on my "watch list" and couldn't touch them when the auctions approached their final hours. People are paying high prices while they have the money. Summer and the winter holidays are the best times to buy. 0 -
Generally, January through December is a great time to sell firearm's. This time is also very good for buying firearm's. 0 -
There are 2 "seasons" Fall, from Sept. to early November, a good time to move firearms before and during hunting seasons, and then in the spring, Feb. to early May, this is tax return time, lots of buyers with extra cash to invest in a firearm.[:D]
