It was Papaw Garner's (my great-uncle Emmet's) duck gun. It accounted for quite a few mallards in its day.

This was my grandfather's, it was passed to me after he died:

I don't know much about it, except that it is a Browning Blegium model. Looks like it says "modified 10 special steel" on the side of the barrel, ""Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgium?" on the side of the reciever, Serial number 134539 with an H under that.
