I have 200+ traps (double centurion) on the Midway, all in the backend of an E2-B. You don't get the cockpit view of the landing, but they were butt puckering none the less. No two traps were the same, but if you were able to exit the aircraft by normal methods after a landing, you were in good shape. Night traps and inclement weather always made for an interesting return. 0 -
I've seen carrier landing up close in the daylight ... can't imagine it at

try working on deck at night, dodging those birds, when they tell you darken ship...
heck, i really thought you went night shooting zip. afterall, its a gun site and i thought you did some trap shooting at night![:D]0
