Tell me more. I was worried that it might be too light. Does the front sight post hold up?

Yes. The weapon is a thing of beauty and will funtion fine. The weight/ergonomics to recoil ratio is purt near perfect.

Does it take moon clips? That would be one of the primary reasons for a .45ACP revolver. Joe

I have a 5" S&W 625 and I love that gun. I have several S&W revolvers and it is one of my favorites and tends to get shot more than the others. It is very accurate and well balanced. I have not shot a 325 yet.

I think the 325 would be a good choice. I would like one for a carry gun. The N frame S&Ws take much of the recoil out of a .45 and are a real pleasure to shoot. Practice ammunition is found fairly cheap, they'll eat anything. Here is my only .45 revolver, a pre 26, model of 1950 and I love it.
