We Met a Swami In The Redwoods Yesterday!
Yesterday, Zip'nZippette took a walk through a magical
mystical redwood forest place ...

We soon grew weary and rested in the magical
mystical redwood forest place ...

As we rested in the magical mystical redwood forest
place, we met a forest swami with an orange forehead
and big red knobs on the tops of his swami sandals.
Some of his swami friends were eating lunch with him.

The swami gave us a forest swami blessing -
not far from the Swami River - and predicted
our immediate future.

The swami told us that we would soon walk
right through a living giant redwood tree,
and just as he said, we later did!

The forest swani also told us that we would
eat dinner in `a big yellow box' ... and later
in the evening, we did!

He also said that the entrance of that big
yellow box was guarded by a large and
dangerous black spider hanging over the
door ... and it WAS!

The swami then told us that shortly
afterwards we would come upon an
old pink house with the setting sun's
light shining through multicolored
panes of glass at the bottom of it's
only turret ...

and across the street would be the largest
gingerbread house that we would ever see!
... and the swami was RIGHT - and there it
was!
Those forest swami's are pretty cool predictor-dudes!
We're thinking of getting our OWN forest swami when
we get home!
Today it's off to Coos Bay! ... we are to look for a beach swami
there, who lives in a driftwood hut and who has blue knobs on
the tops of his sandals!!

--Zip, go down to the "old" waterfront
We did ... that `big yellow box' is The Lost Coast Brewery
and Cafe, on 4th, in Old Town and was a pretty good eatery!

Ah - thanks for the tip! Used to go to Pismo for the sand drags
every year when I was younger and didn't mind getting bugs
and sand stuck in my teeth!
Yep - this is a 'trip up the coast!' Zoomed up to Seattle and back
many times - never took the time to get out and sniff the sand
dunes/beaches! This time we're going to poke along and 'see
what there is to see' before landing in Seattle! So far, it's
been spectacular!
I know the California coast like the back of my hand - I know
nothing (except what the AAA book tells me) about the rest
of the west(coast) except for parts of The Sound and parts
of BC.!

looks like you may be near puyalup this weekend [gunshow]http://www.washingtonarmscollectors.org/shows.asp 0 -
[8D]-Sorry Zip, just one more note-
I don't know how far up the Ore coast you're going, but Don't go all the way to Astoria (where The Columbia) EXITS--
--It's pretty beautiful up thru Rockaway Beach, then it might not be a bad idea to hang a right on hiwy 26 at Cannon beach and that will take you thru Portland to hiwy 84 (columbia river hiwy). then a short trip to Bridal Veils falls and Crown point (Lewis& Clark)--
--You'll never forget it (take camera), then back to I5 and North thru Vancouver, I used to fish just a few miles West of there where the Willamette river joins the Columbia (sturgeon paradise)--
--Jusy remember what Big Doug said "ugly women and rain ALL THE TIME
-(just kidding) enjoy

Zip stop by the Tillamook cheese factory for their icecream. My mom and I used to go there all the time and I remember it was really good. 0 -
Why does a cheese factory have good ice cream? Doesn't make sense to me! Cheese maybe...but ice cream? [:D][:D] 0 -
Very cool. You probably already planned your trip but if you got time I'd check out Lost Coast also, if you haven't been there yet [:)] 0 -
Did the swami give you the numbers for the next mega millions? 0 -
Thankee Zip, I enjoyed the tour..and the imagination. That made it interesting. 0 -
