...It works just fine for burning weeds on fence lines. I used plain gasoline. One caveat: I would NOT let the liquid level drop to the point where a flashback into the sprayer could occur. If you squirted often enough, no pilot was needed. There was usually a small flame from the drip at the nozzle. Hey, we were all younger and dumber at some point...0 -

Zulu- you need to research the term "incendiary device". Yeah, ATF frowns on things like a fire extinguisher loaded with kerosene, with an igniter wick at the tip of the hose. Saw one of those in a prosecution. And I HAVE used a real flamethrower- US Army. Either you use thickened fuel, or 80% burns up on way to target- range is limited, discharge time 9 seconds- and you would not BELEIVE the recoil those things have- like a firehose. A weedburner is a tool- just like a Hilti gun is not a firearm. But a flamenwerfer is a weapon. 0 -
