Hold up in a hotel getting rained out
They are installing the new flooring in my house, so Sandy and I are in the hotel through Thrusday. It's raining to beat the band and I'm using the laptop with the hotels WIFI. It is slower than heck and very undependable.
Home Depot was my first choice, but they "no bid" the job because I had furniture in the house. Ended up letting Stone Mountain do the job and saved $7,000 even with them moving the furniture.
A German guy is doing the installation, so I got a chance to brush up on my German. I didn't do too well in the language department, but he's doing an excellent job on the tile work.
I hate hotels. Everyone makes too much noise and stays awake too late. Don't they know us old poopers like to go to bed before the sun goes down?[}:)]
