    The GB listed FFL I use, can ship a pistol anywhere in continental U.S. for $9.00 UPS ground. FFL holders can also legally ship using USPS, and that really runs close to the same. Insurance would be $2 or $3 extra. Throw in a box and packing labor plus the trip to the P.O. or UPS Terminal and in most cities, you should be looking at $20.00 to $24.00.

    It's not illegal, it is just against ups policy, all hand guns must go via next day air. You can tell them its parts, (and thats illegal) but if you have to make a claim because some ups dock worker lifted it, good luck collecting on the insurance.

    I don't think you are, but your dealer is not being straight if he is shipping handguns via UPS ground.
