I was reflecting on when I first started using the auction site and was visiting the forums. Do you remember when you could attach a sound file to a thread that would play when you opened the thread?

I remember days when the overall tone of this forum was a hell of a lot friendlier. We had many very wise sages that have since left us for kinder horizons. We still have a lot of good people, but over time it seems that we lose our best, and inherit more trolls. Oh well what can ya do? 0 -

The tone was a lot more positive at one point in time. I remember when you actually used to get answers to questions from people who wanted to HELP. Now you just get insulted for asking the question in one way or another. I don't come here with my questions anymore.0 -

Ya know, the board is like a living organism. It changes, grows, shrinks, multiplies, spawns other boards, etc.
I remember the Mark Christians, and the ROBO's and the Judge Dreds, etc. They may well never return but have been replaced with other interesting people that have their own good and bad points.

I just got a call from the HD dealership. The 1000-mile service is complete. I haven't put the miles on it that I wanted to between work and college classes and the dang rain that falls in this state. Sorry but I don't like riding in the rain and won't if I have a say in the matter. [:D]0 -
