Lynne Spear's Book Put on Hold

Imagine that... you've got one daughter who is doped out and lost custody of her children, plus you have another 16-year old daughter that is pregnant, and you're planning on having a book published about PARENTING! lol.

NEW YORK - Lynne Spears' book about parenting has been delayed indefinitely, her publisher said Wednesday.

Lindsey Nobles, a spokeswoman for Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson Inc., said Wednesday that the memoir by the mother of Britney Spears was put on hold last week. She declined to comment on whether the delay was connected to the revelation that Spears' 16-year-old daughter, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant.

"I can tell you that we are standing behind Lynne and supporting her decision to be with her family at this time," Nobles told The Associated Press.

"Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World" was initially scheduled for release May 11, Mother's Day. Spears, the mother of three children with ex-husband Jamie Spears, had been working with a Michigan-based freelancer since March on the memoir chronicling Spears' experiences raising a family in the public eye.

Jamie Lynn Spears, star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine in its new issue that she's expecting her first child and the father is boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Nobles and representatives for Britney Spears said they did not know how Lynne Spears could be reached for comment about the status of her book.

    Don,......I'm not so sure you are correct.
    If you saw those gross pics of Brittany without underwear,......looked to me like you may have been able to pull a trailer out of there.

    I am not happy with an unmarried 16 yr old girl getting pregnant but lets consider a few things. Throughout history females traditionaly got married or started having kids in the 15-18 yr old range. Both of my grandmothers got married at 17 and stayed married for over 50 years and had 4 kids each. My mother married my father when she was 17 and had her first child at 18. My parents have been married for 38 years.
    In todays society and culture 16 is actually not young. I dont think it is advisable but its not something without hundreds of years of precedent.
    My biggest concern and criticism is that Ms Spears is not married. Hopefully she will get married and both parents will be loving and caring for their child. Hopefully they will not follow in the footsteps of Britney. From what I know about Jamie she is different.
    Lets hope for the best. Lets also keep this in context.
