Got rearended.
By a friend of mine.
I was in the Element, leaving the batting cages heading to our softball practice. A member of the team was behind me, and another behind him.
All of a sudden I get smacked, CRUNCH.
The guy in the back messed his bumber all up, broke some lights, etc.
The guy in the middle lost some paint and got a couple scratches.
The Element, being mostly plastic cladding, got no scrapes or cracks in the rear bumper, but the plastic has been stressed and you can see white lines in the plastic. I told him not to worry about it.
I just ordered a new bumper from Honda....$41.01! Man is that cheap.
They have an online parts service. All parts are broken down, and they show an exploded view of everything, along with numbers and decriptions of all the parts. What a great service, it'll be here Wednesday. No charge for shipping.

I get 25MPG out if it. It's hauled 35 2x4x14's, a couch, snowblowers, mowers, bags of concrete, concrete retaining blocks, hauled my boat, etc. I've driven it through all kinds of stuff, been stuck once, that was in 1' of soft mud. Buried it to the axles.
