I want to purchase a new, field grade, sxs shotgun. I want a 28 ga. and will be hunting rabit and squirrel. my price range would not exceed the cost of a cz ringneck and I prefer the single trigger with a pistol grip. please offer any advice because i've never owned a sxs before.

  Thank you for your reply. I thought there would be others. Can you tell me if the Spartan 28ga is built on a frame built for its size or do they use a 20 ga frame. I've only seen them on line. thanks

  The Remington spartans are the former Bakil russian mfg shotguns.
  You might want to look at stoeger also.
