Rifle Racks
I just bought a www.gun-racks.com rotating rifle rack. It is a pretty neat item. The one I got holds 12 guns on a 22" base.
The construction is ultra simple. The base is two layers of plywood, the top one is cut with slots to receive the butt. The top shelf is 12" in diameter and is notched to receive the barrels.
There is a swivel base under the bottom. The top has a large rubber band to keep the guns form falling out.
The only drawback is that they are, IMHO, grossly over-priced.

They're cool....[:)][:)] Simple way to hold your rifles and get to them quickly when you are playing with them, cleaning, etc.....We had a few like that in the gun shop. The other drawback is that they collect dust quickly out in the open like that. Otherwise, they are nice gunracks. I like them. [:D][:D]

I liked the idea of this so I tried to make one. It is not finished but will work. I have less than 50 dollars in this. Don

Nice setup there Don. I may have me a new project, I do need some more gun space.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that I'd trust a man who has Barney sitting on his fireplace. 0 -
