    I read this a few days ago. What really surprised & pleased me was that the dog survived. It must have been a dry bite or at least very little toxin.

    Ya know, I used to think the same. Then my daughter got one that we frequently dog sit for her. In no time we were absolutely nuts over the little mexican fireball. Now we don't want her to go home.

    Aren't they just rather large rats? I think my Springer Spaniel just piddled on one the other day.

    I imagine that like any thing else, alot depends on the individual breeding and personality of the dog. Our daughter dog has personality plus and is absolutely fearless.

    An absolute ditto - our daughter's is an Applehead variety. Our dog is big Chow mix. They actually 'rough house' together.

    Chihuahua ... who would have ever thunk!?

    Overall, if big dogs had a Chihuahua's disposition, we would have to kill them all or the human race would be eaten alive.[;)]
    My family raised them for years (not to sell)and they are one person dogs. Loving and protective of the person they bond to, they are fearless of any adversary.
