  The following is a letter I sent to VP Biden. I urge you all to voice your concerns.
  
  
  
  
  Dear Mr. Biden,
  
  You have been given the monumental task of keeping our schools and citizens safe. I know most people are pushing for more gun control. I believe that we need to work with those with mental illness to stop these senseless acts. Nobody should be afraid to go to the mall, movie theater or school.
  
  I can give you all the cliches about only criminals will own guns if they are banned, but I am sure you have heard them all. The simple fact is that Firearms are a part of our society just like cell phones, video games and computers.
  
  I urge you to take a look at all the facts before deciding on a course of action. What these these killers off? It wasn't simply that they had access to guns and wanted to kill someone, They had underlying issues. We ,as a country, need to treat those issues
