I would add a pic of the bolt faceand say the caliber. Then would add "For the rest I'll let the pictures do my talking as words would only detract from the description"

When I get some better pics this one is going up for a penny....I want to get some pictures of this one outside so the sunlight really shows the wood. I will worry over keeping this one until it gets boxed up and gone. See Bama???? Its really REALLY hard to sell some of these.[:(]

So you are calling my Browning a boat paddle? Well compared to the one in the picture you are absolutely correct!

I think you don't even need to like guns to appreciate the beauty of that stock!

It's outta my league...I don't even want to know what it's worth.

    too bad im a lefty
and too bad barrels wear out.
its one of the reasons people pretty up shotguns more often..they dont start throwing groups.
to make your gun pretty, put a target behind it to show us it makes pretty targets too. otherwise, its just art, pretty art.[;)]

If you haven't heard yet....I am a HORRIBLE SHOT...if you see any type of group from me (keep it a secret) I did it with a pencil.....shhhhhh!

Is that the Olympian or something beyond it? Check date of mfg to determine if it falls in salt wood timeframe and specify when you list. Salt wood was used on higher grade guns and some are serioudly rusty. It is really irritating to have to go back and ask a lot of questions.

Serial number 00099PX617 I have looked as closely as I can...even getting a loop to the area where the barrel meets the wood and I cannot see even the slightest speck on the metal. It is a VERY nice gun. I keep thinking of chocolate and caramel being stirred together....mmmmmmmm.

That Browning is an "Elk Edition BBR" in 7mm Mag. They made a small quantity maybe 3,000 I think in the early 80's. They are Made in Japan and the "salt guns" were on the belgium made guns in the late 60's/early 70's.
    Nice gun and good luck!

Getting better pics of it now. I really wish I had gotten some "in the sun" pictures of this one....but because of the usual mess going on around me I wasn't able to.

Thanks for the info....I will be using your helpful info in the listing if you don't mind.

Give me 10 minutes!!!! And it will be on!
