this reflects poorly on my german heratage, would you please lock or delete this post? thanks.

I do believe that is a typo as the L and K are right next to eachother and he meant to type she likes gold as much as I like Blued steel.

I always give Deb as much CASH, as i can possibly spare. That way, she can go "mall-crawl". She winds-up getting EXACTLY what she wanted..[;)]

Normally I don't because we are really focusing on bills and trying to pay everything off our house included. This year though I think I'm going to splurge and get her a really nice digital camera so she can take high quality pictures.

    Sweep your own porch! [8D]

Haha sorry I always have a good laugh when folks correct others spelling and make their own typo. [:D]

No, in the past 13 years that we have been married I can count how many christmas presents we have bought each other on one hand.

Not married but My girlfriend and I exchange gifts. Nothing expensive though, we both agreed that wasn't necessary.

Now I just get her a little something to open, but most of her gifts are from our son now.

Just was wondering. The wife and I never buy gifts for each other, because if there is something we want, we just buy it. Guess this way you don't get them something they wouldn't like.

If there is something we want, we'll buy it. Within reason, but we do buy gifts for each other. This year we bought a Nintendo Wii for us together and we have an amount, smaller than normal, for regular gifts to each other. We usually spend a good penny on my younger brother and his girlfriend and Tori's grandparents. They are the ones who need things the most. My Brother is a college student, as well as his girlfriend. Tori's grandfather is a WWII Pacific vet, he and grandma are living on a very fixed income.

Yes. I usually just tell her to buy me a nice card, but she finds something that tickles my fancy. I always try to find something either offbeat, or if she has expressed an interest in at some point during the year. She's my best friend, why shouldn't I give her some small token of affection. You guys without gals, take note!
