havin' a crappy week
Well, much of this is self inflicted, but it still don't feel so good.
1) took a good hard look at my dissertation and figured out that I will not be graduating in December.
2) due to #1, decided the job interview I had lined up was a moot point and canceled it. this made the potential employer unhappy and I got an earful about that, but ultimately, I think canceling was the right thing to do (rather than waste more of her time/money by showing up for the interview and then politely declining the position).
3) pretty sure I just got dumped by my GF. why only pretty sure? well, that's probably just a little residual denial but there's a small chance I'm wrong.
ech.
I may go out of town this weekend. I need to see something pretty.

It'll only get better. We all have low points in our lives. That just makes us appreciate things more when it gets better. I always just go sit in the woods when things got crappy. Seems to clear the mind. 0 -

The other day a really crappy song came on the radio. I said "Well, that song really sucks." The wife said "If they were all good you wouldn't know which ones to like." Hope things start looking up for you pretty quick. 0 -
