Most People don't have a clue, live from day to day and never look for a Natural disasters.We always had food and supplies for Rainy days and alot of older Americans remember hard times let alone a disaster. Thanks for posting and reminding us we need to check our supplies the way the weather has been acting and if we have a terrorist attact.[B)][:0][:0][:(] 0 -

One thing I would like to add, In desperate need for drinking water your hot water heater (however big it is) holds fresh water (another reason to flush it out now an then[;)]) So when you use it you don't have a ton of sediment.
Also keeps your hot water heater working more efficiently as well.0 -
If you are going to ride it out, learn to isolate your home from the power grid and wire a generator into the circuit breaker panel. 0
