Interesting strategy.... declare all people ineligible, and don't hear any cases to reinstate rights...

Downside... revolution. The minute a bunch of people figure out what has happened, what do you think is going to happen???

The Bush administration is on record affirming the Second Amendment as an individual right,

Oh horsepoop. That is the problem with the NRA-they refuse to call a spade a spade.
It is better to ignore someones anti gun stance, or better yet, blame their anti gun policies on someone else(as the NRA frequently does when discussing anti gun policies of the current president), when that someone is a someone that the NRA chooses to support(anti gun policies notwithstanding).
Bush is a gun grabber, the NRA not only chooses to ignore his anti gun stance, they embrace him. A photo of a guy wearing a cowboy hat carrying a shotgun makes a pro gun candidate, as far as the NRA is concerned.

    wow .
that is scary only because I can see something like happening .
ya know they aughta enforce the laws that have been in place rather then make more unneeded anti freedom laws.
guess thats the idealism of a tyrant

WOW.... Wake up AMERICA. this bill smells like COMMUNISM to me. I should know, I was born in it, and while other people may disagree first they should ask themselves where were they born. this bill, some laws and practices against the US CONSTITUTION make me think that in the near future someone may come with the idea of changing to a new country name like (UCSA)or UNITED COMMUNIST STATES OF AMERICA. hope to god I'm wrong but in case I'm not then this country will be in need of being defended against all enemy "Foreing and Domestic". count me in..
