Gender test

Me and the wife differ on the way window bilnds should be closed. When I close them the edge of the slat is closest to me is up, when she closes them it is down.
So the test is simple open your bilnds exactly half way and have your other half close them. Im guessing 80% men close them up.

    Depends. First floor window blinds get closed in the upwards position. Harder to see in if at all. Upstairs blinds get closed down, same way of thinking. I may be just paranoid[:o)]

    If you close them up, then people can see in your window. I close them down so you can't see out.

    It depends on the height of the window...Up for the downstairs and down for the upstairs.

    Don't matter. I like them with the edges towards me up. I told my wife that her way was wrong and now I can't see. BOTH EYES ARE SWOLLEN SHUT.

    close them up you can see out no one can see in unless your in the basement, close them down you cannot see out, but people can see in

    It keeps out more light and it insulates against the cold better.

    Always up... I think it keeps more light out.... or at least reflects that light up and away from my bed.

    I think you have less of a chance of seeing inside the house when they are closed up. But, my wife closes them down.

    I pick and choose my battles very carefully. This is, just as was stated above, exactly like the T.P. debate and is NOT a battle worth fighting.
