    Any of you old timers ever see this show! Its not bad, in this episode there having a shooting contest for a Model 12 shotgun.

    Not sure of the name, caught it in the middle, its on Movieplex. This episode McCain enters a shooting contest to win his son a Model 12, and some guy with a Round hat has some young farmhand who can shoot just as well as McCain, and the rounf hat guy wants to start some trouble between McCain and the young Farmhand, he wants them to have a shootout, to see whos better. The young farmhands name is Ruben.

    When I watched the show, they were in black and white.
    Oh wait, maybe it was because the TV was only black and white.

    I wanted one of those rifles for the longest time.
    Then I saw Steve McQueen, with his "sidearm." [:p]

    I bought a set of 5 DVD's with 80 episodes of the Rifleman. It was one of my favorites back in the day.

    I met Johnny Crawford a few years ago at the End of Trail World Championship Cowboy shoot.

    I was never wild about the rifleman, I thought the big loop was pretty silly, and Connors pretty stiff. Johnny Crawford now has his own orchestra.

    I remember that episode.
    I met Chuck Conners son at a gunshow last year. Told him I loved the Rifleman and how in nearly every episode some poor badguy screwed w/Lucas and got his butt shot off for his trouble.
    He wasn't amused and prefered to focus on the moral values the program portrayed.
