Why can't they just hang themselves in a closet somewhere instead of taking all those sheep with them?

    Agreed. I guess they want to go out in a "blaze of glory". At least that is the only twisted reason I can think of.

    If you kill yourself knowbody will ever know who you were, if you kill many then the whole world will understand the pain that you are going through

    I think if the media kept this quiet many woud not consider such an act.
    Fame and fortune is what most desire so when on can get the latter...

    That is true, it needs to be reported, but if they did not go on for weeks about it, it would not be so desirable for others to emulate.

    Hand-in-hand with going on for weeks about it, and giving these idiots far more than fifteen minutes or ten seconds or whatever amount of fame -- most also make it plain that guns and the "gun lobby" are the problem, while the shooters themselves simply have problems and are in their own way victims. Fame and absolution all in one politically correct package. More people than just homicidal whack-jobs buy into this skewed theory of villians and victims, to judge by the number of times in my adult life I've been asked some variation of the questions, "How can you justify having the right to own guns when there are so many crazy people running around? How can you be opposed to trying to keep guns away from them?"

    I didn't say that it was logocal, but you have to understand how a crazy person thinks. They think that that they are the victims and everybody is out to get them. So buy attacking people they are letting out their final cry for help.

    little video games running in their grey matter, reality is not where they exist. Not really in charge of their emotions, more than likely some little thing set him off, like his girlfriend dated the captain of the football team.
