    I don't know about you, but apparently, I'm missin' about two bills.

    What you are missing is the sublime ability to totally ignore reality, drag your wallet out, and hand over 200 bucks more money then that thing can possibly be worth.

    Sure..they are nice pistols. Also..they are obsolete, fragile, and rather difficult to find parts for.

    I just looked it up. I paid $119.00 in January 1979, so $350.00 might not be that far out of line.

    Some day..when you feel lucky..pull the screws out of that little jewel.[:D]Actually..the 999 IS one of the better ones..



    The Ejector cam, the sear, and the cylinder hand are subject to breakage and wear..I have fixed many of them.
    The early models of H&rs had fixed firing pins (on the hammer) and break easily.

    You can get an H & R 922 for a third of that price. I did, and mine works fine!
