Cooking out in winter

Anyone else brushing snow off the grill to cook out today?

I got some hamburger, pork ribs, and a "buy-it-today-before-it-rots" ribeye steak.

    I put the grill on the front porch awhile back to keep the snow off of it. Yesterday was a beautiful day with temps in the 30's. Fired up the grill last night and grilled up some ribeyes. What a treat!

    my grill stays in use all winter. open the kitchen door walk 15 feet there it is.under roof.fixed sausage on it this morning, temp was 23

    I use the grill and smoker all year long!

    When it comes to cooking I am like the post office! No rain, sleet, or snow is going to stop me!

    I fry my fish outside all winter long, using my Coleman camp stove.

    My grill outdoors has been covered in snow since the first snowfall of the season. We've had two spells of below-zero temps and are due for another this week. Way too miserable.

    But I do something else even when the temperature climbs into the 20s, as it did yesterday. If we have something we want to grill, I put a wire rack over the coals in our Vermont Castings Defiant stove and broil away. Yesterday evening: lamb chops. Excellent!

    Use the grill Year Round

    Have had 3 feet of snow on the top --Just light and go in the house for 1/2 hour grill is warmed up snow melts off.

    Grilled stakes with temp at -40

    High winds with cold temps makes it cook a lot slower. But I still Grill outside

    friday night i grilled out. -18 outside and i was grilling. dont do it to often when is that cold out. hard to keep charcol warm. but it worth it in taste to grill.

    Wife has ours fired up right now-with charcoal-don't own a gas grill. It is 3 feet from the back door on the covered back deck. It is about 30 degrees outside right now.

    Its one of the big ones from Sam's Club that has 2 sides and you can raise or lower the coals with a little crank.

    Best $200 I ever spent on a grill. It is a Brinkmann Dual Zone Professional.

    I noticed the coal trays are getting rusted and went online and checked the Brinkmann site a week or two ago. I will order some extras soon. Grill is heavy-it took me and my son to bring it in and set it up, but have used it a couple times a week for a couple years.

    Live in southern alabama.If you want to call it winter last jan.to the end of feb.March 1st spring is in the air.I do love my grill!!I. cook on it as much as possible[:D]

    Dude you don't see the bad stuff. It was 1 out last weekend and I was grilling.


    40 don't make it to cold to grill.[:D][;)]

    just giving you some crap GRD. I grill when the supper calls for it, weather be damned.

    Cooked out pork chops tonight, although it was only 40. Only rain stops me from cooking out and it takes a lot of that. Cook most of my meat on the grill.
