MEXICAN POLICE INCURSION (ARMED/INTENTIONAL) EL CENTRO SECTOR/CALEXICO STATION -- On August 26, 2007, Remote Video Surveillance System operators...observed a red Ford F150 south of the All American Canal between the United States and Mexico...Agents...encountered the vehicle and performed a vehicle stop...The agents found credentials on the driver indicating that [name redacted] is an Agent of the Mexican Agencia Federal de Investigation. The agents searched the vehicle and discovered several items to include: guns, ammunition, narcotics, night vision equipment, cell phones, a walkie talkie and a ski mask.

Our borders must be protected. There should be absolutely no debate on this issue. Congress has passed legislation to build a fence, then other legislators come around and defund it. In addition to physical barriers and surveillance, another element is needed.... something simple, but as of yet, missing from the process: political pressure. The government of Mexico will not change its ways unless pressure comes from the U.S. government. We cannot allow these incursions into sovereign U.S. land. We cannot allow Mexico to encourage the exodus of its people through illegal means as a way of bringing more money back to Mexico. Protection of our borders starts with the White House and ends at the border line.

Actually, our government IS doing something about the invasion.
They are stepping up surveillance of the American citizens..making it unlikely that there will ever be an effective resistance to the barbarians.
They are moving to ensure that the Second Amendment remains neutered..(see the D.C. case, and the Justice Dept. brief filed)
They are moving to elect an Amnesty President.
They are moving steadily to roll America into the North American Union.
So to state that they are `doing nothing' is wrong.
Only someone that loves America, our ideals, our heritage can state something like that.
That completely leaves out most of Congress, all the political candidates save one, the media, big business, and most of the people that live here in this land.0 -

maybe people there should do what the founders of your constitution wanted done!..form state malitias and protect your country...would be interesting to see the governments response seeing as they are formed based on constitutional grounds..especially if they have the backing of the states that are threatened!..just a thought i had.. 0 -

Check out Tom Tancredo's book, "In Mortal Danger".
This is nothing. He says they've witnessed humvees, assumed to be owned by the Mexican government, escorting drug dealers across the border onto Texas land. The people watching are powerless to do anything but call it in and document it.

"On January 23, 2006, three SUVs were seen fording the Rio Grande at Neely's Crossing. Hudspeth County, Texas, sherrif's deputies gave chase, and the SUVs turned back and headed toward the river. There, the caravan was met by a military style Humvee with a mounted .50-caliber machine gun on the U.S. side of the river.
One SUV blew a tire short of the river and was abandoned by the smugglers. One made it back across the river but the third got stuck. A dozen men in battle-dress uniforms with AK-47s appeared on the Mexican side of the river and helped to unload many bales of contraband from the marooned SUV. The sheriff's deputies and highway patrol officers could only watch because they were outgunned and outmanned. After unloading the cargo, the Mexican's set fire to the SUV, leaving it to burn in the riverbed.
Arvin West, the county sheriff was convinced that the Humvee at Neely's Crossing as well as the dozen men in uniforms were elements of the Mexican government. West has lived on the border all his life, speaks Spanish fluently and has had considerable interaction with the Mexican military and Mexican police over the years.
He and the men involved have witnessed dozens of these type of incursions over the years and have a catalog of stories."0 -
